Takuya Higashitani, received the Student Presentation Award at the 40th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Energy and Resources.

The WISE student, Takuya Higashitani,  received the 10th Student Presentation Award from the Japan Society of Energy and Resources on August 8, 2022, at the 40th Annual Energy and Resources Conference.

To decarbonize and resilient energy supply in homes, the storage and use of solar-generated electricity in electric vehicles (EVs) has been attracting attention. In the presentation, Mr.Takuya Higashitani evaluated the impact of the presence of EVs on the energy technology configuration of homes from the perspective of economic optimization using a mathematical model, with the aim of establishing design methods for such next-generation homes. This presentation received the Student Presentation Award.

Congratulations to Takuya Higashitani!
