A press release on the research findings of Ms. YAMAJI Misa, WISE program student, and her group has been issued by the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT)
The research findings of Ms. YAMAJI Misa, a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Biotechnology and Life Science, Graduate School of Engineering at TUAT, Professor KAWANO Ryuji (her supervisor) from the Division of Biotechnology and Life Science, Institute of Engineering at TUAT, and their research group members were released in a press release by TUAT.
The research group has demonstrated the possibility of inferring the behavior of peptides within nanopores by analyzing the minute changes in current observed when peptides are detected by nanopore measurement.
These findings are expected to be applied to peptide identification and protein sequencing using nanopore measurement.
