Dr. KAWABATA Masahiro, WISE Program alumnus, won the “Technology and Physics of Welding Promising Award” of Technical Commission on Welding Processes, Japan Welding Society

Dr. KAWABATA Masahiro (a WISE program alumnus who graduated in September 2024), an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT), and Professor SASAHARA Hiroyuki (his former supervisor), won the “Technology and Physics of Welding Promising Award” of Technical Commission on Welding Processes, Japan Welding Society in August 2025.
