A press release on the research findings of Ms. Fidya Azahro Nur Mawaddah, WISE program student, and her group has been issued by the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT)

The research findings of Ms. Fidya Azahro Nur Mawaddah, a first-year doctoral student in the Department of Applied Physics and Chemical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering at TUAT, Associate Professor Satria Zulkarnaen Bisri (her supervisor) from the Division of Advanced Applied Physics, Institute of Engineering at TUAT, and their research members were released in a press release by TUAT.

This study showed that different crystal compositions are formed depending on temperature, with AgBiS₂ nanocrystals produced at temperatures above 160 °C. This material is promising for environmentally friendly applications in solar cells and photodetectors.
This finding enables more precise control over the synthesis of AgBiS₂ nanocrystals.
In addition, the study discovered that this material exhibits high performance when used in photodetectors.
These results are expected to contribute to the development of environmentally friendly optoelectronics.
