The research results of SATO Ryu, a fourth-year student in the integrated doctoral program in the Department of Food and Energy Systems Science, Graduate School of Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering, TUAT, HIRANO Nanami, a second-year student in the Master’s Program in the Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, TUAT, and Professor FUSHIMI Chihiro, Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, TUAT, were released in a press release by the university.

Through this research, they have developed a new recycling-oriented process that reuses the by-products of the target product in a biomass-derived chemical manufacturing process that does not depend on fossil resources.
