Theme: ” Block Building to Fabricate Transplantable Organoids“

Description: The invention of three-dimensional culture systems and iPS cells have made it possible to realize a world where organs and living organism can be created artificially. However, there are many challenges with existing methods to realize the artificial creation of human tissues. To address these challenges, we try to establish a new method based on engineering perspectives. In the future, the establishment of this method is expected to solve many problems of transplant medicine such as shortage of organs for transplantation, and transform transplant medicine.
