A press release on the research results of TAKIGUCHI Soutaro and TAKEUCHI Nanami, WISE program alumni, and their group has been issued by the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT)
The research results of Mr. TAKIGUCHI Soutaro, Ms. TAKEUCHI Nanami (both are WISE program alumni graduated in March 2024), Professor KAWANO Ryuji (their supervisor) of the Division of Biotechnology and Life Science, Institute of Engineering, TUAT, and their group members were released in a press release by TUAT.
This research group has summarized the important findings obtained so far on DNA computing technology, which uses DNA molecules for information processing, and nanopore decoding, which reads the output results using nanometer-sized pores, and reported them in a paper along with future prospects.
Nanopore decoding is also expected to be applied to cancer diagnosis using diagnostic markers in body fluids.
