Sae Sueki received the “Young Engineer Award” at the 27th Conference of the Japan Society for Computational Engineering and Science.

Sae Sueki , a first-year student of the department of Mechanical Systems Engineering in TUAT, received the “Young Engineer Award”  at the 27th Conference of the Japan Society for Computational Engineering and Science.

Congratulations, Sae Sueki!

■ Award: Young Engineer Award

■ Presenter: Sae Sueki (Engineering  Dept. of Mechanical Systems Engineering M1)

■ Conference: The 27th Conference of the Japan Society for Computational Engineering and Science.

■ Title: Estimation of Material Model Parameters using Data Assimilation and Strain-field Measurement by Digital Image Correlation

■ Abstract: The design of machinery requires understanding and predicting the deformation behavior of material used for the products accurately. This study develops a new methodology to predict the deformation behavior of the material using a measurement technique that processes images taken from cameras and a data science approach.
